Skill Rules & Full Description
This skill gives the character the ability to call damage with Bastard Blunt weapons. If a character does not have the appropriate weapon skill, then not only can they not call damage, but if the weapon they are holding is struck, they take that damage anyway.
If the character has both Weapon Skill: One-Handed Blunt and Weapon Skill: Two-Handed Blunt, they automatically gain Weapon Skill: Bastard Blunt.
Weapon skills are NOT hand specific the way proficiencies are. And a character can use the weapon in either hand with no penalty.
Two handed weapons can be used to only block with one hand.
The base damage for a Bastard Blunt is 2 with one hand, and 3 with both hands.
